Before Every Burn
Trim your wooden wick to approximately 1/8 inch before lighting. Keeping the wick properly trimmed encourages a cleaner, steadier flame and a more even burn.
The First Burn Matters
On your first burn, allow the melt pool to reach close to the edges of the vessel before extinguishing. This helps encourage a more even burn throughout the life of your candle.
Keep It Cozy — and Safe
Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Between Burns
Let your candle cool completely before handling or lighting it again. Before each burn, keep the wax pool clean and free from wick trimmings, matches, or other debris.
Store With Care
When your candle isn't being enjoyed, store it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight. This helps preserve both its fragrance and appearance.
